1. Classical Indian Dance for Stage, Media & Events
Rhythmic precision, geometric elegance and expressive storytelling (Bharatanatyam) for gala evenings, conferences, cultural festivals and TV/studio productions.
2. Performance Formats
Event interlude / short performance (5 – 8 minutes)
- Ideal for: live broadcasts, studio recordings, award ceremonies, conference openings.
- The experience: A highly rhythmic, dynamic highlight piece (Tillana) that serves as a visual and aesthetic ‘treat’ between text-heavy panel discussions or presentations.
- Procedure & logistics: Straightforward and requiring no set-up time (‘plug and play’) using a pre-recorded audio track.

Cultural feature (15 – 20 minutes)

- Ideal for: receptions, gala dinners, international summits, anniversaries.
- The experience: A two- or three-part performance combining both pure rhythmic speed (Nritta) and expressive narrative art through facial expressions (Abhinaya).
- Production & logistics: Includes prepared presentation scripts for your event host or pre-recorded audio introductions.
Full solo recital / Margam (30 – 60 minutes)
- Ideal for: cultural centres, art festivals, museums, theatres.
- The experience: A classical concert journey through the traditional repertoire of Bharatanatyam – from the solemn opening to the dynamic finale, accompanied by narrative introductory elements.

3. Technical Requirements (Tech Rider)
To ensure smooth coordination with your on-site production team:
- Stage / Floor: A smooth, even and clean surface (parquet, wooden or dance floor preferred).
- Sound: Standard PA system with stereo jack/XLR connection for professional audio tracks (provided on USB stick).
- Lighting: Classic stage or studio spotlights.
- Set-up time: Ready to use immediately – soundcheck and preparation in under 10 minutes.
4. Dressing Room & Preparation Time
Transforming into a Bharatanatyam dancer – from precise facial expressions to the traditional silk costume and jewellery – takes around 60 minutes of preparation time before each performance.
- Separate room / dressing room: A quiet, lockable room (green room) with a mirror and plenty of light is ideal for getting ready on site.
- Note on transport: The costume is far too precious and the make-up too heavy for the Underground – unless you’re willing to pay for a door-to-door taxi! 😉
